Lorene L. Sayles

Mrs. Lorene L. 'Hughes' Sayles, of Farmington, passed away Tuesday night, July 8, 2003, at the Presbyterian Manor Nursing Home, Farmington, at the age of 85 years, 3 months & 18 days. Lorene was born March 19, 1918, in Oats, MO., to Frank & Maggie 'Wood' Hughes. Also preceding-in-death was her husband, Charles Orville "Chic" Sayles, Sr., on Aug. 17, 1997. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: 2 DAUGHTERS - Michele Hampton, of Farmington; Diane Moon & Larry Daskoski, of Bloomsdale, MO; 2 SONS: Charles Orville (& Sondra) Sayles, Jr., of Wannamucca, NV; John Paul (& Terry) Sayles, of Pevely, MO; 1 SISTER: Byrdean 'Mrs. Charles' Vickery, of Farmington; 2 BROTHERS: Jim Hughes, of Ste. Genevieve; Ray (& Margaret) Hughes, of Texas. 8 GRANDCHILDREN; 1 GREAT-GRANDCHILD. Also, several Nieces & Nephews. Visitation Friday, 5-7 p.m, & Memorial Service, Friday, 7 pm @ TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating. Interment at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials to: * Farmington First Baptist Church &/or * Farmington Presbyterian Manor Nursing Home.
