Loretta Gail Barbey

Loretta Gail Barbey, 69, of Bonne Terre passed away surrounded by her family Thursday, February 16, 2023, at her residence. She was born Saturday, August 15, 1953, in St. Louis, to the late Billy Ray and June (Black) Cauley. Loretta was a proud member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Bonne Terre; she enjoyed spending time with her church family, crocheting, knitting, traveling with her spouse, motorcycle riding, camping, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Tyman Barbey; daughter, Tina Points; son-in-law, Clinton Points; sister, Brenda Collinsworth; brothers, Melvin and Lindell Cauley; brother-in-law, Robert Collinsworth.

Loretta is survived by her loving daughter, Theresa (husband Joe) Carducci; three grandchildren, Cole (wife Cortney) Points, Madelyn and Josephine Carducci; siblings, Darrell (Rooster) Cauley, Dennis (Crow) Cauley, will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 20, 2023, from 10:00 AM until service time of 12:00 PM. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Bonne Terre with Pastor Mark McMullen officiating. Interment will follow at Adams Cemetery in Frankclay. Memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice.
