Loretta Mae Swanguarim was welcomed into the arms of her heavenly father on July 18, 2026, at the age of 84.

Loretta was born on June 21st, 1942, in Fredericktown, Missouri to the late Alfred and Margaret Hale. She was preceded in death by her husband Elwood R. Swanguarim (Woody) and their one and only darling son, Little Randle Elwood Swanguarim. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William Ray Hale; mother-in-law, Jesse Florence Swanguarim; nephew, Toby Robart; sister-in-law, Dee Rae Hale; and special friend, Harold Crump.

Loretta is survived by her loving siblings, Stephen & LuAnn Lodholz Hale, Mike & Carol Hale, Dwight Hale, Jennifer & Allen Brashear, and Pat Hale; nieces and nephews, Stephanie & Gary Dean, Carrisa Gonzalez, Luke & Kristi Hale, Emily & Aaron Pope, Taylee Brashear, Laura and Johnathan Hale, Justin and Erica Hale; great nieces and nephews, Abigail & Jacob Conley and Austin Gonzalez; and her three special “Little Rascals” great nieces, Rainey, Rhylynn, and RosyJane. She is also survived by a sisterhood and brotherhood of special friends who became family, Kathey & Walt Wilkey, Edaleen Helms, Frank & Pat Fenwick and family, Zelma Hammond (the late Richard Hammond), Susie Gage; and a host of many other family & friends too numerous to count.

She was employed with Emerson White Rogers electric for 37 years. After retiring, she spent her life traveling, camping, doing puzzles, and rolling on the river. Gardening and cooking were some of her greatest trademarks. One of the best cooks around, known for her dressing and sausage gravy. She was an avid Cardinal fan. Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Conway Twitty “Hello Darlin.” were among some of her favorite musicians. Her greatest love was hanging out with family and friends and enjoying lots of laughter, good times and good food.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 9:00 am until the service time at 1:00 pm at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Farmington, Missouri. Pastor Jennifer Brashear will be officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington, Missouri.
