Loretta Theresa Cortopassi Richardson

            Loretta Richardson, age 89, of Bonne Terre, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 at her daughter’s residence.  She was born on January 8, 1929 in St. Johns, MO. to the late Matthew and Loretta (Piel) Martin.  Loretta loved gardening, cooking and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre.

            In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer and Matthew Martin; sister, Lorraine Peters.

            She is survived by her loving husband, James Lee Richardson; five children, Michael Richardson and wife Lorilee, Phillip Richardson and wife Perrie, Janice Pickens and husband Dwayne, Tammy Haar and husband Jim and Donna Haegele and husband Tom; sister, Gertrude Frame; seventeen grandchildren, Tony Richardson, Lecy (Richardson) Wood, Lori (Richardson) Adams, Michelle (Richardson) Zweifel, Phillip and Ryan Richardson, Joseph, James, Jason, and Jake Huey, Krystal and Scott Jahn, Jennifer (Jahn) Hoechst, Andrea (Haegele) Reed, Stephen and Andrew Haegele, Ashley (Haegele) Ali all survive; and thirty-four great grandchildren.

             Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Bonne Terre.  Mass service will begin at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Msgr. James E. Hanson officiating. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association.
