Lorraine Mae Myers

Lorraine Mae Myers, age 96 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the ClaRu Deville Nursing Center in Fredericktown. She was born on May 21, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of Axel Menard and Hannah Victoria (Johnson) Carlson. She was united in marriage to Floyd Alvin Myers on July 19, 1948, in Chicago, he preceded her in death on October 09, 2010. In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded by a son Stanley. She is survived by two sons: Richard (Chi) Myers of Brownstown, Michigan, and Stan (Lora) Myers of Fredericktown; one daughter: Betty (James) Sanders of West Frankford, Illinois; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Lorraine was a cook at the Fredericktown schools. She attended the Fredericktown Freewill Baptist Church and loved cooking, going to church, and gardening. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m., on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., also on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Phillips officiating. Interment will be at the Christian Cemetery in Fredericktown. Condolences may be posted on this website.
