Lou Propst

Mrs. Leona Lou Propst passed away Thursday evening, March 24, 2016, at Community Manor, in Farmington, at the age of 85 years, 11 months & 12 days. Lou was born on April 12, 1930, in St. Louis, MO., & was the daughter of Leoni Martin & Effie 'Henson' Martin. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Charles Edgar Propst (2009) & a daughter, Patricia Faye Saladin (1983); and 4 brothers - Jewell Martin; Freeman Martin; Dude Martin & Loy Martin.

Lou was a longtime member of Farmington First Baptist Church and was a retired hairdresser, owning her own shop in Farmington for many years.

Survivors Include : 3 sons - Gary (& Jo) Propst, of Pace, FL; Larry (& Daphne) Propst, of Nashville, TN; and Darryl (& Angela) Propst, of Farmington. 1 brother - Charles "Jackie" Martin, of Glen Allen, MO. 5 granddaughters - Mary Ann; Molly; Marjy; Shawna & Dara. Also surviving are 7 great-grandchildren.
