Louise Verna Childers

Louise Verna Childers of Ironton, Missouri passed away February 20, 2022 in Farmington, Missouri at the age of 90 years. She was born February 26, 1931 in Graniteville, Missouri the daughter of the late Jasper Robert and Gertrude (Grauthoff) Landie. On June 27, 1953 she was united in marriage to Robert Lindbergh Childers who preceded her in death on February 18, 1995. To this union two children were born: Sandra Lynn Childers of Ironton, Missouri and Carl Eugene Childers who preceded her in death. Louise is also survived by her sister, Catherine Smith of Lesterville, Missouri as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Hazel Kinder, Violet Smith, and Margie Brown and a brother: Charles Robert Landie. Louise worked for many years at Brown Shoe Factory. She enjoyed flowers and gardening.
