Louise "Weezie" Elliott known to many as “Mom”, went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2024. She was born October 28, 1941, the fourth of six children born to the union of the late Richard and Emma (Hughes) Lindsey. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by two brothers: William Lindsey and Jimmy Lindsey and two sisters: Maxine Taylor and Delores O’Conner. Louise was blessed with seven children: Sharon (David) Green, Victor Lindsey, Daniel Lindsey, Bernard (Diane) Lindsey, Valerie Lindsey, Bridgett Webb and Angela Lindsey. She was preceded in death by her son Victor Lindsey and her daughter, Bridgett Webb. Louise is survived by thirty-three grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her sister, Barbara (Calvin) Smith, is also left to mourn her passing. Louise confessed a hope in Christ at an early age. Later in life she became a faithful and very active member of the New Northside Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1975, Louise was “born again”. She moved to the Open Door House of Prayer Church in Annapolis, Missouri with her brother and sister-in-law under the Pastorship of Brother Henry Williams, continuing faithfully there. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Open Door House of Prayer Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Open Door House of Prayer Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Arcadia Valley Food Pantry.
