Louise Pogue

          Louise Pogue, 84, of Farmington, passed away November 20, 2022, at Cedarhurst in Farmington.  She was born July 6, 1938, in Waterloo, Illinois, to the late Alfred and Juanita (Jarvis) Rencehausen.  Louise was united in marriage to Jim Pogue on November 9, 1957, and were married for 34 years prior to his passing.  Jim and Louise had 4 daughters together.   Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church in Desloge and the American Postal Workers Union.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Cindy Jone Pogue.

          Louise is survived by three daughters, Sandra Rodgers and husband Les, Beth Crain and husband Mark; Lisa Dempsey; grandchildren, Jeffrey Radford, Mikayla (Aaron) Thieme, Ryan Dempsey, Garrett Dempsey; two great-grandchildren, Landon Thieme, Echo Thieme; and aunt, Ruth Whitaker; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.  Louise will be missed by all who knew her.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, November 25, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  The visitation will resume at 9:00 AM, Saturday, November 26, 2022, until the service time of 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park in Ironton.
