Louise Stromik

Louise Stromik, age 96 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at the Stockhoff Nursing Center in Fredericktown. She was born on March 17, 1926, in Fredericktown. She was married to Alfred Wagner and later after his passing she married Edward Stromik, he also preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters – Barbara Thomasson and husband Mike of Fredericktown and Mary Lou Fortner also of Fredericktown: five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and both husbands, one son John Calvin Wagner precedes her in death. Louise was an LPN at Madison Medical Center; she enjoyed going to yard sales, thrift stores, loved cats and dogs and singing at church where she was a member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Fredericktown. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., also of Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Dave McCutcheon officiating. Interment will be at Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown.
