Louise Marie Vance of Middlebrook, Missouri passed away on January 27, 2021 at the age of 78 years. She was born on October 28, 1942, in Lesterville, Missouri, the daughter of the late Howard and Jessica (Fitzpatrick) Rice. On November 29, 1961 Louise was united in marriage to Hosea Leamond Vance who preceded her in death on March 14, 2006. To this union six children were born: Dorothy (Dave) Savage of Arcadia, Missouri; Charlie (Annette) Vance of St. Louis, Missouri; William “Harold” (Tracy) Vance of Ironton, Missouri; Jessica (Mark) Bone of Arcadia, Missouri; Sandra (Dave) Midkiff of Annapolis, Missouri; and George (Bobbie) Vance of Ironton, Missouri. She is also survived by her brother, William Rice and wife, Nadine of Roselle, Missouri and her sister, Dora Mae Froneyberger and husband, Dan of Fenton, Missouri; eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great- grandchildren, one great grandson on the way; six great great grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was also preceded in death by her stillborn daughter, Wilma Louise, her nephew, Brian Froneyberger, and two nieces, Donna Marler and Beverly Christopher. Louise worked for many years as an LPN at St. Mary’s Hospital. In later years, she worked at Lone Pine Congregate Center. She was a member of the Arcadia Valley Elks Lodge. She loved quilting, raising rabbits and had a green thumb with plants, flowers, and gardening. Louise especially loved to dance. Due to the recent increase in COVID- 19 cases, all family members and guests are required to wear a mask or facial covering while visiting our facility. Social distancing is also expected to keep family members and staff safe. Seating capacity has been reduced to accommodate social distancing. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
