Elvira Browers of Ironton, Missouri passed away January 10, 2021 at her residence at the age of 77 years. She was born July 17, 1943 in Potosi, Missouri the daughter of the late Robert and Velma (Woods) Lee. On August 10, 1968 she was united in marriage to Richard Harvey Browers who preceded her in death on June 25, 2015. To this union two daughters were born: Michelle Keown of Ironton, Missouri, and the late Tammy Browers. Elvira is survived by six grandchildren who were very special to her: T.J. Isbell, Brian Morris Jr. (Maranda), Devin Morris (Sierra), Markus Morris (Ericka), Gabriel Mauzy, and Kelsey Jones (Thomas), three great grandchildren also survive: Roze Jones, Victoria Jones, Nolan Morris and Skye is on the way. Elvira’s special niece, Paula Head survives as well as a host of other family members and many, many friends. Elvira was baptized and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was very active in her church; serving as song leader, Sunday School teacher and always being willing to help prepare and serve church meals. Elvira worked in the housekeeping department at the Baptist Home for over twenty years prior to her retirement. All family members and guests are required to wear a mask while visiting our facility. Social distancing is also expected to keep family members and staff safe. Seating capacity has been reduced to accommodate social distancing. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
