Lynwood "Bud" Sparks

Bud Sparks, 81, of Farmington, formally of Desloge, passed away November 1, 2023, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. He was born September 8, 1942, in Bonne Terre, to the late V.A. and Dorothy (Richards) Sparks. He attended the First Baptist Church in DeLassus. Bud enjoyed riding his Harley, but most of all, spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, James “Jim” Sparks, Gary Michael Sparks, Tommy Sparks in infancy; several brothers and sisters in-law.

Bud was a loving husband to his wife of 60 years, Naomi “Sparky” (Serini) Sparks; father to Tambra (Les) Wood of California and Donald “Don” (Tammy) Sparks of Farmington; grandfather to Brittney (Nick) Gabris, Cassandra (Michael Goggin) Sparks, Cruz (Amy) Ibavosa and Paden Sparks; great-grandfather to eight; sibling to Phyllis Ferguson, Mary (Donald) Meyer and Sharon (Hilan) Priddy; and fur daddy to his special friend Buddy. He is also survived by sister in-law, Doris Sparks; brother in-law, Donny (Linda) Serini, several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in honor of Lynwood’s “Bud” memory.
