Mabel V. (Crocker) Snyder , age 94, passed away on December 28, 2021 at Parkland Hospital in Farmington, Missouri. Mabel was the wife of the late Robert C. Snyder of Buffalo, New York. Mabel was born in Banner, Missouri. She was the second oldest of six children born to the late Willard and Florence (McClain) Crocker of Middlebrook, Missouri. Her siblings included the late Erma Baker and Macc Crocker. She is survived by her siblings Harold T. (Rosalie) Crocker of Middlebrook, Missouri; Neoma Jean Long of St. Louis, Missouri; and Arlene Jones of Fredericktown, Missouri. Mabel met Robert Charles Snyder in St. Louis, Missouri and they were married on February 28, 1946. Upon their marriage they moved to Clarence, New York. Mabel is survived by their six children: Carolyn Sue (John) Evans of Ely, Nevada; Charles (Brenda) Snyder of Bixby, Missouri; Daniel (Sharon) Snyder of Farmington, Missouri; Debra (Stanley) Tiefenauer of Farmington, Missouri; Donna (Ben) Franck of Wentzville, Missouri; and Douglas Snyder of Middlebrook, Missouri. Mabel is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. After Robert’s death, Mabel returned to Missouri to be with her family. During her lifetime, she was a dedicated housewife to her family and provided childcare to many local families. Mabel enjoyed reading, country drives, attending auctions, and decorating her home. Memorials may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, or The Arthritis Foundation, Heartland Region.
