Madaline Emma Dettmer

Madaline Emma Dettmer of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away March 5, 2013 at the age of 88 years. She was born July 29, 1924 in Roselle, MO the daughter of Charles and Elsie (Matthews) Robbs. On October 19, 1941 she was united in marriage to Harrel H. Dettmer who preceded her in death on June 4, 2005. To this union six children were born; Lana and husband Bill Lauterwasser of Hillsboro, MO, Dan and wife Jane Dettmer of Lake St.Louis, MO, Terry and husband Wilbur Copenhofer of Leewood, KS, Ted and wife Susan Dettmer of Lake St. Louis, MO, Tim Dettmer of O'Fallon, MO, and Renee Dettmer also of O'Fallon, MO. In addition to her children Madaline is survived by a brother, Orville Robbs and wife Lorene of Roselle, MO and a sister, Eileen Tremmel of Hazelwood, MO, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren (with one more on the way), and she had a special place in her heart for Annika Ruhr.
