Madge Smith

Madge Smith, age 96 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Center in Fredericktown. She was born on January 13, 1922 in Fredericktown, a daughter of Tom and Almedia (Reed) Bailey. On October 17, 1939 in Van Buren, Missouri she was united in marriage to H.D"Tom" Smith, he preceded her in death on January 14, 2003; her parents and ten brothers and sisters also precedes her. She is survived by one son & daughter-in-law – Dwayne & Carol Smith of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Kathryn & Robert Paulus of Columbia, Missouri; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Madge was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her children and husband of over 60 years; she also enjoyed cooking and working in her flower and vegatable gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 29, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Coke officiating. Interment will follow at the Christian Cemetery in Fredericktown.
