Mrs. Mae Jean Gerber passed away Tuesday morning, March 14, 2017, at Community Manor, in Farmington, at the age of 89 years, 9 months & 20 days. Mae was born May 24, 1927, in Benton, Missouri, and was the daughter of Earl George Kneezle (dec'd 1972) & Eva Ellen 'Wood' Kneezle (dec'd 1981). Also preceding-in-death were: her 1st husband (& love of her life), Eugene O. Geasland (1967). Her 2nd husband, William "Bill" Roman Gerber (1998); 1 son, Ricky Allen Geasland, in-infancy; 2 sisters - Dorothy, in-infancy & Hazel Layton. 2 brothers - Kenneth & Donald Kneezle.
Mae was a 35-year member of Farmington First Baptist Church. She graduated from Bell City H.S., on May 24, 1945. She always worked in the Banking Industry, starting at the Lemay Bank & Trust in St. Louis. She moved to Farmington in the 80's and went to work for Mercantile Bank, where she retired. Mae spent the last 14 months of her life in the care of Community Manor, Farmington. Mae will be remembered as a loving mother to her children & best friend to her daughter, Lisa 'Link' Geasland.
Survivors Include : 1 daughter, Lisa "Link" Geasland, of Farmingtno. 2 sons - Dennis (& Linda) Geasland, of St. Louis; Ronald Geasland, of St. Louis. 1 sister, Diana (& George) Watkins, Jr., of Bloomfield, MO. 1 brother, Eldon (& Rachel) Kneezle, of Carson City, CA; 3 grandchildren: Michael, Jason & Brian Geasland. 1 great-granddaughter, Kennedy Geasland. A Special Friend, Earl Sutherland, of Farmington.

Visitation Resumes : Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Farmington First Baptist Church
Funeral : Monday, 12:30 p.m. at Farmington First Baptist Church, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating
