Mara E. Smith

Mara Elizabeth Smith, 40, of Bonne Terre, passed away February 7, 2015 in Bonne Terre. She was born to John A. Smith and Shirley (Hood) Smith on June 18, 1974, in Richmond, VA Mara was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was co-leader of a Girl Scout Troop. Mara is preceded in death by her parents, her grandfather Floyd Warden, and grandparents Arthur and Ruth (Gallagher) Smith. Surviving is her husband, Johnny R. Smith, two daughters, Hailey Smith of Bonne Terre and Cassandra Smith of Ironton. Two sisters, Christina Nail and husband Jeffrey of DeSoto, and Jaimie Pyeatt and her husband, Dennis. Her grandmother, Betty Warden, and two grandchildren. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Prayer Service will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM .The Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre.
