May Leonard

May Leonard, age 90, of Park Hills, Missouri passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Country Meadows Nursing Home in Park Hills. She was born on April 3, 1936, in Saco, Missouri to the late Arthur and Alice “Lula” (Parson) Bellew.

In addition to her parents, May is preceded in death by her first husband of 17 years Donald Lee Grindstaff, and second husband of 30 years, Harold “Lefty” Leonard; daughters, Donna Obolla, Shelia Kharfaoui; brothers, Albert Bellew, Lawrence Bellew, and Theodore Bellew

She enjoyed sewing and gardening. May loved the Lord and attended Hurryville Free Will Baptist Church in Farmington when she could. Her greatest joy was her family.

May is survived by her loving children, Jack and wife Barbie Leonard, Ray and wife Shelia Grindstaff, Harold and wife Jodi Grindstaff; grandchildren, Kyle and wife Danielle Grindstaff, Josh Obolla, Allison Province, Kara Grindstaff, Collin Grindstaff, Chelsie Grindstaff, Jaquelyn Leonard, Pamela Leonard; great-grandchildren, Djinn Province, Micah Obolla, Sophia Obolla, Isabella Fossey, Ryder Burks, Wrenley Burks, Brinley Hayes, Oviana Grindstaff; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer Funeral Homes - Wilson Chapel in Fredericktown on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 PM, with Pastor Bob Thebeau officiating. Interment will be at Central Cemetery near Fredericktown. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer Funeral Homes - Wilson Chapel.
