Marian Wilson

Marian Wilson, 90, of Park Hills, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015.  She was born Thursday, September 3, 1925 in Minimum, Missouri, to the late Millard and Madge (Reese) Sitton.  She married Robert L. Wilson on June 20, 1943. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Park Hills for over 60 years, and served as a Sunday school teacher and choir director for several of those years.            

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Wilson; three sisters, Geraldine Hahn, Louise Ludwig and Donna Schroeder.            

Marian is survived by one daughter; Madge (Danny) Powell of Marquand; two sons; Robert (Dorothy) Wilson of Fenton and Gary Wilson (Sharon Knecht) of Inman, S.C.; two grandchildren; Thomas (Kelley) Powell of St. Louis and Chera (Bryan) Lancaster of Boiling Springs, S.C.; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Bill and Diane Pattengill.            

Visitation will be Friday, November 27, 2015, at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills beginning at 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Chapel Service will be Saturday, November 28, 2015, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Josh Kennon officiating assisted by Joe Stone.
