Marianna Smith

          Marianna Smith, 93, of Ozark, formerly of Desloge, passed away peacefully December 9, 2020, at The Baptist Home in Ozark. She was born January 3, 1927, in Desloge, to the late Bert and Mary Alma (Hurt) Williams. Marianna was a member or the Cantwell Baptist Church in Desloge.

          She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 66 years, Irvin “Smitty” Smith.

          Marianna is survived by her children, Joyce David and her husband Steve of Farmington, Jeff Smith and wife Linda of Ozark, Shelia Monks and her husband Bill of Desloge; grandchildren, Stephanie, Laura, Bob, Shaina, Travis and Whitney; great-grandchildren, Keira, Audrey June, Alice, Meave, Emile, Ryleigh, Eslie, Ensley, Adler and Owen.

          A private graveside service was held at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials in Marianna’s memory, may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
