Marie A. Johnson

Marie Audre Johnson, 91, of Farmington passed away November 4, 2018. She was born November 23, 1926 in Ste. Genevieve County. Marie was a member of the Farmington Church of the Nazarene and the American Legion Post 416 Ladies Auxiliary, where she once served as President. She worked for Parkland Hospital in Farmington for 33 years until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Joel Gordon, Sr. and Pauline (Cowley) Gordon; husband, Roy Virgil Johnson; son, Randall Johnson; sister, Sarah Ann Taylor.

Marie is survived by two sons, Wendell Johnson and wife Sherri of Patton and Edward Johnson of Farmington; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Rachel Dennis; brother, Horace Joel Gordon, Jr. and wife Anna. Several nieces, nephews, other family and friends also survive.

Visitation will be Friday, November 9, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Visitation will resume at 9:00 AM at the Farmington Church of the Nazarene until the time of service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Art Menard officiating.
