Marie Jennings

Marie Jennings, 97, of Bonne Terre passed away January 9, 2018 at St. Joe Manor. She was born on February 5, 1920 in Calimine, Arkansas to the late, Willie and Myrtle (Jackson) Goodman. She was preceded in death by her husband; Orville Jennings; her children, Barbara Pettie and Frankie Ballard; one sister and four brothers.

Marie was a member of the Leadbelt United Pentecostal Church, she also attended the Dogwood Chapel in Lake Timberline. Marie was a founding member of the Bonne Terre Garden Club.

She is survived by two sisters, Lela Beaver and Wanda (Joe) Gibbar; one brother, Ray Goodman; half-brother, James and two half-sisters, Donna and Martha; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 2:30 pm until time of the funeral service at 3 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with Rev. Scott Meeks officiating.
