Mrs. Marie Kennedy 'Counts' Rickus passed away Sunday, January 27, 2008, at St. Johns Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis County, at the age of 94 years, 10 months & 19 days. Marie was born on March 8, 1913, in Farmington, & was the daughter of Jeff D. Counts & Sallie 'Kennedy' Counts. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Martin Ward "Bus" Rickus (June 28, 2001); 5 Sisters: Lucille; Margaret; Jessylne; Minnie Alva & Yalette. Also, 1 Brother, Jeff Counts, Jr.

Marie was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Farmington & worked as a substitute Rural Mail Carrier in Farmington for several years. Marie retired after 27 years with Biltwell. She worked for many years as an Election Official at the polling (voting) precincts.

Survivors Include, 3 Sons: Don Rickus, of New Port Richey, FL; Wendell "Wink" (& Dorothy) Rickus, of Farmington; Edward (& Rosie) Rickus, of Doniphan, MO; 10 Grandchildren: Cindy (Mrs. Larry) Buckley, of Gibsonton, FL; Martin (& Irene) Rickus, of New Port Richey, FL; Michael Rickus, of New Port Richey, FL; Kenny (& Sheri) Meyer, of North Little Rock, ARK; Tom (& Diane) Meyer, of Coffman, MO; Ann (Mrs. Todd) Carlyon, of Irondale, MO; Debbie (Mrs. Anthony) Robertson, of Hernando, MS; Rick (& Sarah) Rickus, of Farmington; Kevin (& Chrissy) Jennings, of Farmington; Jim "Bobo" Rickus, of Doniphan, MO; 17 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great, Great-Grandchild. Numerous Nieces; Nephews; Special Friends: Ed & Sue Brown, of Farmington; Virginia Rickus, of Farmington. Also, numerous other Relatives & Friends.

Visitation : Friday, 5-9 p.m. Visitation resumes Saturday, 7:00 am

Funeral : Saturday, 2:00 p.m., Feb. 2, 2008,

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Randy Parks officiating.

Interment follows at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve County.
