Marie Adele Miller

Marie Miller, a beloved resident of Bonne Terre, Missouri, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on August 7, 1932, Marie was a woman whose spirit shone brightly throughout her life, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Elmer and Frances Barbara (Stoeckel) Schulte; loving husband John Miller and first husband Frank Pusateri, Sr.; one son, Frank Pusateri, three siblings, Art Schulte, Donald Schulte and Shirley Porter. 

Marie was not only a proud member of the Terre Du Lac Country Club, where she enjoyed countless rounds of golf, but she also cherished her time spent with her close-knit group, affectionately known as "The Card Ladies." Whether it was through the thrill of competition or the gentle camaraderie of a card game, Marie found joy in the company of her friends.

 A nature enthusiast at heart, Marie found solace in birdwatching and had a true passion for feeding and caring for the beautiful birds that frequented her home. Living on Lac Marseille allowed her to immerse herself in the wonders of nature, and she loved nothing more than basking in the glow of a sunset from her deck, reflecting on life’s simple pleasures.

 Above all, Marie cherished her family, and her grandchildren were immeasurable. Family gatherings filled her heart with joy, creating memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those she loved.

Marie is survived by her loving children, Linda Gardocki and husband Walter, Arthur Pusateri and wife Laurie and John Pusateri; two special nieces that she raised Shelley Grelle and Sharon Fritz, following the death of their mother, she lovingly provided them a home, guidance and endless love. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Doug, Gina, Andrea, Andrew, Michael, Jennifer and Johnny; eighteen great grandchildren, Brendan, Aubrey, GiGi, Ashley, Emily, Marshall, Kale, Kasen, Kellen, Kamden, Lucas, Sophia, Cecilia, Layla, Olivia, Isabelle, Quinley, and Verily; and one great great- granddaughter, Cecilia. Along with several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

 Marie Miller’s legacy will live on through the cherished stories and memories shared by her family and friends.

 Rest in peace, dear Marie. Your warmth, laughter, and love will be deeply missed.
