Marie Nora Meyer

Mrs. Marie Nora Meyer passed away Wednesday evening, September 1, 2010, at her Farmington Community Manor residence at the age of 94 years, 9 months & 20 days. Marie was born on November 11, 1915, in Higdon, Missouri, and was the daughter of Lawrence A. White and Etta Ellen 'Baldwin' White. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Charles Boyd Meyer (2003); 2 Sisters: Mayme Elizabeth Rollins and Beulah Ina Starnes Mabuce; 2 Brothers: Cletus White and Arthur Calvin "Bill" White.

Marie was a longtime faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Farmington. She was a member of Lutheran Ladies Aid and Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Marie was a member and Past-President of the VFW Ladie's Auxiliary. Marie often volunteered as a Pink Lady at Parkland Health Center.

Survivors Include : many Nieces; Nephews; Great-Nieces & Great-Nephews.

Visitation : Friday, 5:30 - 8 p.m. Visitation resumes Saturday, 6:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Funeral : Saturday, 11:00 a.m., September 4, 2010

at : St. Paul Lutheran Church, Farmington, with Pastor James King officiating.

Interment follows at Lutheran Cemetery, Farmington.

Memorials to : St. Paul Lutheran School, Building Fund.
