Mrs. Louise Marie 'Callahan' Schaefer passed away early Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, at Camelot Nursing Center, Farmington, at the age of 82 years, 4 months & 21 days. Louise Marie was born April 27, 1926 in Coffman, Missouri & was the daughter of Wiley Callahan & Minnie 'Merritt' Callahan. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Herman B. Schaefer (Jan. 17, 2008); 1 Brother, Walter Callahan; Sister & Brother-In-Laws: Berniece Callahan; Lloyd Skinner; Glen Dane & Don Cousins. Also, 1 Grandson, Greg Schaefer.

Marie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Farmington; a member of the LWML & Lutheran Women's Club, helping with numerous Bake Sales & Bereavement Dinners; a member of the TOPS Organization & served as a member of the Civil Air Patrol prior to World War II.

Survivors Include : 1 daughter, Joyce 'Mrs. Bobby' Green, of Littleton, New Hampshire; 1 Son, Bill Schaefer, of St. Louis; 3 Sisters: Dorothy Dane, of Park Hills, MO; Lu Cousins, of California; Mary Ann (& James) Whiteside, of West Plains, MO; 1 Sister-In-Law: Naomi Skinner, of Farmington. 7 Grandchildren: Adam Schaefer; Alan (& Diane) Johnson; Jennifer Nicole (Mrs. Christopher) Powers; Alex Green; Kristin (Mrs. Patrick) Sinnott; Christopher Schaefer; Matthew (& Amanda) Schaefer. Two Great-Grandchildren: Hayley Johnson & Aliyah Schaefer. Also, numerous Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation : Sunday, 4-7 p.m. Visitation resumes Monday @ 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Funeral : Monday, 10 am, September 22, 2008

at : St. Paul Lutheran Church, Farmington, with Pastor David Oddi officiating, assisted by Pastor James King.

Interment : Lutheran Cemetery, Farmington.
