Marie Thurman

Ina Marie Thurman, 95, of Bonne Terre passed away July 15, 2016. She was born November 26, 1920 in Bonne Terre. She was the oldest member of Centenary United Methodist Church. Marie was employed with Union Electric for 45 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kennett and Bertha (Hardin) Thurman; two brothers, Oral Thurman and Rae Kennett Thurman; sister, Hazel Merritt; two nieces, Juanita Thurman Haley and Pat Thurman; dear friend, Beula McQuary.

Marie is survived by two nephews, Donald R. Thurman and wife JoAnne and Scott Thurman and wife Cindy; two nieces, Barbara Stotler and husband Bill and Judith Smith. Several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins also survive.

There will be a graveside service at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
