Marilyn Blunt, 87, of Farmington, formerly of Leadington, entered into eternal rest on February 13, 2026, at Camelot Nursing Center. Born on November 2, 1938, in St. Louis, Marilyn was the beloved daughter of the late Carl Scheck and Lucille (Wilson) Gruner.

A cherished member of The First Baptist Church in Desloge, Marilyn found joy in singing with the church choir and participating in community activities, particularly her beloved Bingo games. Her deep faith and warm spirit touched the lives of many within her congregation and beyond.

Marilyn dedicated much of her working life to the Biltwell Factory, where she served as a skilled hemmer before retiring. She later contributed her time and compassion as a Bus Aide for the North County School District, fostering connections with both students and staff.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years, Joseph Blunt, who passed one month to the day before her; one son, Edward Blunt; sister, Brenda Smith; and five brothers, Michael, Gary, David, Frank and Alred Scheck.

Marilyn is survived by two children, Dennis Blunt and wife Sheila, Tammy Young and husband Greg Embry; grandchildren, Katie Williams (Patrick), Holly Cavins (Jacob), Logan Blunt (Baylee), Kelsey Vogelsang (Luke), Konnor Young (Caleb Tittle) and Keaton Young; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends also survive.
