Marion D. Cox, Jr.

Mr. Marion David Cox, Jr., passed away late Tuesday night, December 24, 2013, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, at the age of 76 years and 13 days. Marion was born on December 11, 1937, in St. Louis, and was the son of Marion D. Cox, Sr., and Francis Eileen 'Pierce' Cox. Also preceding-in-death were: a daughter, Angie Darlene Kennedy and 2 brothers: Gerald Wayne Cox & Danny Lee Cox.

David was united in marriage to Edith F. 'Pyke' Cox, on August 10, 1963, and recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Marion was a member of the Delassus First Baptist Church.

Survivors Include : his wife, Edith Cox, of Farmington. 2 Sons: David Shane (& Paula) Cox, of Herculaneum, MO. & Mark Riley (& Lori) Cox, of Bonne Terre. 3 grandchildren: Paul David Kennedy; Jonathan Cox & Anna Marie Cox. Also surviving are a Sister-In-Law, Jean Cox, of St. Charles; and several Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation : Sunday, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Visitation Resumes, Monday @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Monday, 9:30 a.m., Dec. 30, 2013,

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Charles Shrum officiating

Interment - 1:00 p.m -@- Old Alexandria Cemetery in Troy, Missouri
