Margie Spradley

Marjorie “Margie” Gail Spradley, 71, of Terre Du Lac passed away March 31, 2018 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. She was born December 28, 1946 in St. Louis to the late Willard Earl and Virginia (Lamming) Gowan.  Margie was a Junior High English teacher for the Caledonia, Centerville and Ellington school districts for twenty years.  She was a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association. Margie was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bonne Terre where she played the piano and served in many other capacities.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John and Bill Gowan.

Margie is survived by her loving husband Greg; three sons, Troy Jason Spradley and wife Angie, Tod Andrew Spradley and wife Julie, Jason Eric Spradley and wife Missy; grandchildren Brianne, Alissa, Hunter, Payton, Dylan, Drew, Conner, Mia; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dozens of students that called her mom.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in Bonne Terre on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 1:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM with Pastor Alan David officiating. Entombment to follow at St. Francois Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Bonne Terre.
