Martha Ann Gibbs of Pilot Knob, Missouri passed away at her home on February 11, 2025. She was born June 7, 1951 in Ironton, Missouri, the daughter of the late Orie Denzel and Alice Lillian (Connelly) Moses. On April 28, 1973, she was united in marriage to Ronnie Gibbs, Sr. who preceded her in death on December 10, 1993. They were the parents of two sons: Ronnie Gibbs, Jr. and wife Jamese of Arcadia, Missouri and Jerry Gibbs of Pilot Knob, Missouri. Martha is also survived by her sister: Mary DeDear of Pilot Knob, Missouri; her brother: Donald Moses and wife, Patsye of Ironton, Missouri; three grandchildren: Isaiah Gibbs, Jacob Gibbs and Mason Gibbs, her sister-in-law Eva Moses of Ironton, Missouri as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Moses. After high school, Martha earned an Associate degree in Business Management and managed the Mimosa Motel in Ironton, Missouri. Martha was also a Mary Kay Consultant and earned several awards. The Arcadia Valley Food Pantry was very important to Martha, and she enjoyed serving her community at the pantry. She served as the president of the pantry for many years. She was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron. She was a member of the Arcadia Valley United Methodist Church. Martha’s wishes were for graveside services only. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Arcadia Valley Food Pantry in honor of Martha.
