Marty Mathes

          Martin “Marty” Mathes, 62, of Park Hills, passed away, December 2, 2021, at his residence surrounded by the ones who loved him.  He was born October 9, 1959, in Bonne Terre, to the late Lester James Mathes and Norma (Hulsey) Toppins.  Marty was a member of the First Baptist Church in Park Hills. He had a love of music as well as sports and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Blues Hockey fan.

          He is survived by his siblings, Katherine (John) Kennedy and Mark (Dawn) Mathes; special nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, whom he dearly loved.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, December 6, 2021, from 11:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM.  A private family inurnment will be held at St. Francois Memorial Park.  Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
