"Buddy"

Marvin Eugene Cooper, "Buddy" age 87 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023, at the Presbyterian Manor in Farmington, Missouri. He was born on November 18, 1935, in Fredericktown to Marvin Henry and Edith Mae (Pierson) Cooper.

On December 31, 1955, in Fredericktown he was united in marriage to Delores Mae Pirtle, she survives at the home.

Other survivors include: two sons & daughters-in-law – Brad & Shelly Cooper of Gilbert, Arizona, and Brent & Kathy Cooper of Farmington; two daughters & sons-in-law – Laura & Ray Mills of Florence, Arizona and Lisa & Jim Hawkins of Casa Grande, Arizona; one sister – Pansy White of Texas; two brothers - Donald Cooper of North Carolina and Roy Cooper and wife Carolyn of Fredericktown and six grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Bruce Cooper and one brother, Kenneth Cooper.

Buddy was a distributor for Friendly Service Mobile Company in Fredericktown; he enjoyed refinishing furniture; antiques and mowing; he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., also on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Johnson officiating.

Interment will be at Oddfellows Cemetery in Fredericktown.
