MARVIN THOMAS SCOTTMarvin Thomas Scott, age 84, of Desloge, Missouri, passed away December 13, 2010 at Camelot Nursing & Rehab Center in Farmington. He was born September 14, 1926 in Frankclay, Missouri.He was a member and trustee of the First Baptist Church in Leadwood, Missouri and a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Pacific during WW II.Marvin was preceded by his wife, Melba L. (France) Scott; parents, Cecil E. and Rosie (Keay) Scott; brothers, Melvin and wife Vivain, Donald and surviving wife Linda, and Herbie Scott; sister, Dorothy Claywell and husband Bob, sisters-in-law, Roseanne Scott, Joyce France Stegall and husband Wayne. Marvin is survived by two sons, Gary Lane Scott and wife Connie of Farmington, Phillip Ray Scott and fiance Nancy Zertan of Desloge; four grandchildren, Jeff Scott and wife Danielle of Desloge, Tesha Scott of Farmington, Jordan Scott and wife Kristi of Desloge, and Doug Scott and wife Krisona of Labadie; eleven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Murphy Scott and wife Arlene of St. Peters, David Scott of Bonne Terre, Cecil Scott of Bonne Terre; two sisters, Wilma Lind (deceased husband Earl) of St. Louis, Ruth Edgar ( deceased husband Frank) of Bonne Terre, sister-in-law, Norma France Boyer and husband Bill of Jackson, TN.; brother-in-law, Paul France and wife Marilyn of Farmington; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday (December 14, 2010) at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Services are 10:00 AM Wednesday (December 15, 2010) at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge withRev. Alan David officiating. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery.
