Marvin was born November 8, 1950, in Marshall, Texas, to Melvin Dewey Short & Catherine Marie 'Steiger' Short. Also preceding in death was 1 Son, Wayne Marvin Short; & 1 Brother, Donald E. Short. Marvin was a US Air Force Veteran. Survivors Include: 1 Daughter, Marlynda Short - of St. James, Missouri; 1 Sister, Betty 'Mrs. James' Shaw, of Farmington. 4 Brothers: Raymond E. (& Connie) Short, of Houston, TX; Thomas E. (& Nancy) Short, of House Springs, MO; James L. Short, of Jefferson City, MO., & Robert L. Short, of Columbia, MO. Also, 6 Nieces; 4 Nephews; 3 Great-Nieces; 1 Great-Nephew & numerous other Relatives & Friends. Private services were conducted by Taylor Funeral Service, Inc.
