Mary Belle Kennedy

Mary Belle Kennedy (nee Hassell) 95, a longtime resident of St. Louis, Missouri passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on January 28th, 2016 in Naperville, Illinois where she had lived with her daughter and family for the last 6 years.  She was born on June 22, 1920 in Flat River, Missouri. She married Woodrow Kennedy in 1937 and moved to St. Louis.  She worked at General Motors for 32 years.

Beloved mother of Shevawn Kennedy (Thomas) Maxwell; cherished grandmother of Dawn Michelle Kennedy, Brian Douglas (Catherine) Kennedy, Kidd Gray (Christian) Kennedy, Sarah Lorea Maxwell, Benjamin Hughes Maxwell and Jesse Colin Maxwell; great-grandmother of Arianna Nicole Laurent, Logan Gray Kennedy and Noah Thomas Maxwell; and great-great grandmother of Kylie Nicole Laurent and Alexa Brooke Roth.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband Woodrow Robert Kennedy, her loving son Robert Sherdell Kennedy, and her parents Ora Lee and Ollie Mary Hassell.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 10:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel located at 711 E. Main St., Park Hills, MO 63601. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington, MO.
