Mary Ruth Berry, age 85 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Center in Fredericktown. She was born on September 28, 1932 in Portageville, Missouri a daughter of James Dewey and Mattie Alice (Study) Kennon.
On August 19, 1948 she was united in marriage to Herschel Harold Berry Sr., he preceded her in death on August 28, 2000. She is also preceded by one son, Herschel Berry Jr., daughter, Nina Berry and sister Alice.
She is survived by four daughters - Patsy (Wade) Parsley of Fredericktown, Alice (Charles) Parsley of Arcadia, Florida, Margie Lundsford and Linda Berry both of Fredericktown; one son - Danny Berry of Fredericktown; two brothers - Phillip Kennon of Pacific, Missouri and David Kennon of Fredericktown; thirteen grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Mary had been a cook at the Longhorn Restaurant at Cherokee pass; she enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds and loved to embroidery; she was a member of the Central Community Church near Fredericktown.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Alice Parsley and Pastor Pat Jones officiating.
Interment will be at the Central Community Cemetery near Fredericktown. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Central Community Cemetery Fund.
