Mary Sue Clark of Ironton, Missouri passed away February 8, 2023 in Pilot Knob, Missouri at the age of 77 years. She was born March 5, 1945, in Ironton, Missouri the daughter of the late James Richard “Dick” and Maudra (Smith) Baldwin. Sue as she was known to most, is survived by her brother; Jim Baldwin of Ironton, two nieces; Robin E. Ridlon (Ryan) of Fredericktown, Missouri, and Kristie Camp (Greg) of DeSoto, Missouri and her nephew; Rick Baldwin (Cris) of South Carolina. Her sister-in-law and friend Linda Baldwin of Ironton, two stepchildren; Michael Clark and Janet Novak, as well as a host of great nieces and nephews are also left to mourn her passing. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Clark on December 7, 2007, her brother, John Baldwin and her stepsons, Dennis Clark and Malcolm Clark Jr. Sue was a 1963 graduate of Ironton High School. She was a member of Arcadia Valley United Methodist Church. Sue worked in the office of the Pilot Knob Pellet Company until it closed. She later owned a nail salon in Ironton. Sue and Malcolm owned the well-known Chanticleer Pottery for many years. She enjoyed traveling and was especially fond of Italy, Greece, and Egypt. Sue loved to socialize with her friends and was a founding member of the “Floozy Suzies”. She was gracious, elegant and fiercely independent. She had a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed by her many friends. Memorials may be made to Arcadia Valley United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Memorial envelopes for either are available at Bryson Funeral Home.
