Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Shoemake passed away on Friday afternoon, June 22, 2007, at her Farmington Presbyterian Manor residence at the age of 93 years, 10 months & 21 days. Mary was born on August 1, 1913, in Greenville, MO., & was the daughter of Thomas J. Marler & Belle 'Evans' Marler. Also preceding-in-death was her husband, C. B. Shoemake (March 26, 1978). Mary & C.B. were united in marriage on August 14, 1937.

Mary was a veteran School Teacher, having taught 46 years in Madison, Wayne and St. Francois county Public Schools. She was a life-long Methodist and member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Farmington. Mary was also a member of the Mineral Area Retired Teacher's Association.

Survivors Include : 2 Nieces - Darlene J. Loring, of Farmington & Andrea McDaniel, of Jackson, Mississippi. 1 Nephew: Larry Marler, of Ste. Genevieve. 1 Sister-In-Law: Freda Marler, of St. Louis. Also surviving are: numerous Great-Nieces; Great-Nephews; Great, Great-Nieces & Great, Great-Nephews.

Graveside Services: Wed - 10 am - June 27, 2007,

at : Coldwater Methodist Cemetery, Coldwater, Mo., with Dr. Rick Broadway officiating.

(Note : A short visitation will be held prior to the graveside service at the cemetery)
