Mary Frances Lewis

Mary Frances Lewis formerly of Ironton, Missouri passed away April 27, 2019 at Missouri Baptist Hospital at the age of 95 years. She was born February 4, 1924 in Glover, Missouri the daughter of the late Gentry and Julia (Wright) Colyott Sr. On August 14, 1948 she was united in marriage to Eual John Lewis who preceded her in death on January 18, 2018. To this union three children were born; John Lewis and wife Sandie of Fenton, Missouri, Doug Lewis and wife, Lisa of Fenton, Missouri and Debra Kay West who preceded her in death. In addition to her sons, Mary Frances is survived by her son-in-law, Mike West of Viburnam, Missouri, nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary Frances was a 1941 graduate of Annapolis High School. She earned a Bachelor's in Education and worked as a teacher in the Missouri public school system until she retired in 1979.
