Mary L. Edgar

Mary L. Edgar 84 of Desloge, died October 11, 2011 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.She was born January 4, 1927 in Bonne Terre, Missouri to the late Lehman J. and Mary M. (Tetley) Braning, and joined hands in August of 1947 with the late Morris E Edgar in Farmington, Missouri.Mary was a member of the Centenary Methodist Church in Bonne Terre, and was retired from the North County School District, where she was employed as the Junior High Secretary for many years.Mary was also preceded in death by her son Delane Dale Edgar; brother, Albert J. Braning; sister, Bettie Blackwell.She is survived by son Richard Allen Edgar and wife Kathy; brothers, Robert Joseph Braning and wife Sharron, James Edward Braning and wife Ruth; sister, Barbara Ann (Mrs. Ron) Marler; grandson, Shawn Edgar and wife Tina; great-grandsons, Riley and Ethan Edgar.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge October 14, 2011 from 5 P.M. to 9 P.M.The service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel on Saturday October 15, at 10 A.M. with Rev. Brad Dush officiating.Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.Memorials can be made to Centenary Methodist Church of Bonne Terre or American Heart Association.
