Mary Lou Parker

Mary Lou Parker passed away October 24, 2024 in DeSoto, Missouri at the age of 90 years. She was born March 19, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late Robert and Anna Marie (Lighter) Kuithe. On May 11, 1957 she was united in marriage to Robert Allen Parker Sr. who preceded her in death on December 6, 2006. Mary Lou was the mother of William Melvin Parker of Festus, Missouri, Patty Williams of DeSoto, Missouri, Garry Parker of Villa Ridge, Missouri, Terry “John” Parker of Annapolis, Missouri, Christine Chirichigno of Bradenton, Florida, David Parker of Arnold, Missouri, Kevin Parker who preceded her in death, and Ginger Price of Wyoming. Mary Lou raised Barbara Long, Robert Parker Jr., Phillip Zumwalt and Mickey Zumwalt as if they were her own. She is the grandmother to numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Louis Kuithe Jr. Mary Lou loved being a wife and homemaker to her large family. She loved to be silly and play with all the kids. She enjoyed singing and dancing, making sock dolls, and she loved to read her Bible. She was a member of the Bible Memory Association and the Historical Society. Mary Lou also enjoyed traveling with Branson being one of her favorite places to go. She was a member of the Annapolis Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at the Annapolis Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Rev. Howard Casteel will be officiating the services. Interment will be in the Annapolis Cemetery.
