Mary Ruth Parsley, age 86 of Arcadia, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Arcadia Hospice House in Arcadia. She was born on May 11, 1930 in Piedmont, Missouri, a daughter of Charles Elliott and Mary Ruth (Adelot) Henson. She was united in marriage to William Parsley who preceded her in death, she later married Henry Collins, he precedes her in death. Her parents and son - Steve Parsley, brothers - Marion, Lee and Bill Henson and sisters - Julie Mell, Artie Tucker and Bessie Bilbury also precedes her.
She is survives by three sons & daughters-in-law - Chuch & Alice Parsley of Arcadia, Florida, Wade & Patsy Parsley of Fredericktown, Missouri and Roger & Kathy Parsley also of Fredericktown; twelve grandchildren, twent-nine great-grandchildren and sixteen great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mary worked for Colp Industry in Arcadia as a coil winder for electric transformers; she enjoyed fishing and sewing and had a soft heart for people and loved taking care of anyone that needed help.
Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., on sunday, December 18, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Hme in Frrederickotwn. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Aubuchon officiating. Internment will be in the Simmons Cemetery near Fredericktown. Memorial contributions are suggested to Wilson Funeral Home.
