Mary Lou Pendley, 83, of Gerald, MO passed away April 17, 2026 at Cuba Village Senior Living in Cuba, MO. She was born April 5, 1943 to the late Jesse and Gracie (Holmes) Asher. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures and quiet moments, especially when she was crocheting something made with love, working through a challenging puzzle, or getting lost in a good word search. She had a lively spirit and a love for dancing that brought smiles to those around her, and she delighted in the beauty of flowers, whether tending to them or simply admiring their blooms. These hobbies reflected her gentle nature, her patience, and her appreciation for both creativity and life’s everyday joys.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Pendley; four siblings, Edgar, Eugene, Hobert and Betty; daughter-in-law, Von Pendley.
Mary is survived by her three children, Randal Pendley and wife Susan, Ronald Pendley, and Donna Pendley; six grandchildren, Alysa Pendley, Brytnee (Chris) Morris, Kristopher (Joey) Pendley, Megan (Zack) Little, Anthony Boyer, Randi Pendley; thirteen great-grandchildren, Leighanna, Dustin, Audrey, Lylah, Tyler, Owen, Everett, Keagan, Christopher, Jacob, Hikari, Aizen and Kai.
Visitation will be held at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Noon. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
