Mary Sue Stacy, age 92 passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022, at her daughter's home in Farmington, Missouri. She was born on March 26,1929 in Hiram, Missouri to James Richard and Essie (Costephens) Sanders.
She was united in marriage to John Ward on April 4, 1949, he preceded her in death in 1960; on September 29, 1974, she married Everett Stacy, he preceded her on August 30, 1992.
Those surviving include: two sons - Jerry (Gloria) Ward Sr and Johnny Ward; three daughters – Geraldine (Kevin) Dawson, Delores "Lois" (Mike) Kaufmann and Betty Hahn; three brothers – Donald (Danelle) Sanders, Perry Barker and Stanley Sanders; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands she is preceded in death by three brothers -James Sanders, Jim "Buck" Sanders and Gene Sanders; three sisters – Betty Faulkner, Barbara Sanders and Dorothy Gillespie.
Mary was a homemaker, she enjoyed collecting knic knacks, going to yard sales and thrift stores; she loved life and loved the Lord, but above all she loved her family. She was a member of the Pure Gospel Ministries in Park Hills for twenty years, she later attended the First Baptist Church in Farmington.
Visitation will be from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., also on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastors Ray Jarvis and Jim Odle officiating.
Interment will be at the New Prospect Cemetery in Silva, Missouri.
