Mary Lou Ward, age 87 passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020 at her home in Fredericktown, Missouri. She was born on April 22, 1933 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Edward and Alta (Head) Davidson.
On August 25, 1950 in Poplar Bluff she was united in marriage to Charles Ray Ward, he precedes her in death; also preceding her is one son, David Ward, one grandson, Cody Fraser and seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two sons & daughters-in-law – Dennis & Kim Ward of Fredericktown and Mike & Tammy Ward also of Fredericktown; four daughters & sons-in-law – Marilyn & Don Wallis of Omaha, Arkansas, Susan & Benny Vaughn of Fredericktown, Sharon & Petie Burr of Bonne Terre, Missouri and Paula & Alvin Thomure of Fredericktown; one brother – Charlie Davidson of Rochelle, Illinois; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren
Mary was a homemaker, she loved taking care of her family; she was also a cook for Mine LaMotte School and nursing homes; she enjoyed working with crafts, sewing, gardening and going to church where she was a member of Calvary Church in Fredericktown.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Sawyer officiating.
Interment will be at the Walker Cemetery in Fredericktown.
