Marylou Malone, 78, of Bonne Terre, sadly passed away on September 15, 2026 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis. She was born on February 15, 1948 to the late Oral D and Betty Jean Koch.

Marylou was survived by two sets of identical twins; Chris Jones, Rich Jones, Erin Malone, Carrie Malone-Johnson, sister Michelle Koch, and five grandchildren.

Marylou has lived in the Bonne Terre area for approximately 6 years. She has made many friends during her time there. Before moving into the area, she lived in Imperial Missouri, Paducah Kentucky, Thorntown Indiana, and Willits California. She was very happy during her life while living in California where she worked as a nurse for many years. She liked to help people, most recently at her job at the Park Hills job center.

She enjoyed gardening very much. She loved to be outside in nature, especially the ocean. She was very crafty, a great artist, and loved to paint with watercolors. She loved to be around her family and her friends. She also was a member of the Gospel Light Freewill Baptist Church in Bonne Terre.

Marylou was very loved and will be greatly missed by many. A celebration of life will be arranged at a later date. We will keep friends and family updated along the way.
