Maude Barnhouse

Maude Ruth Barnhouse, 87, of Doe Run passed away May 31, 2022 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus. She was born September 14, 1934 in Doe Run to the late Walter and Margaret (Lovvorn) Lacey. She was a member of the Pendleton United Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Norman Barnhouse; siblings, Helen Lacey, Stanley Lacey, Sterling Lacey, Bob Lacey, Jay Lacey, Theresa Howell, Barb Hampton and Imogene Martin.

Maude is survived by four children, Pamela Hayes and husband Rick, Marcella Elder and husband Ricky, Anthony Propst (Laura DeClue), David Barnhouse and wife Marcia; thirteen grandchildren, Jada, Jacob, Ryan, Kyle, Jamie, Angie, Jaxon, Jarrod, Josh, Jonathan, Meghan, Madison, Kayla; nine great-grandchildren, Ravenna, Wayne, Sophia, Joseph, Harley, Stella, Remington, Jesse, Stephan; sister, Shirley Starnes.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the service time at 1:00 PM at the Pendleton United Baptist Church in Doe Run. Rev. Doug Tucker will be officiating. Interment will follow at Weiss Cemetery in Doe Run. Memorials may be made to Pendleton United Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
