Maureen Gail Gerstner

Maureen Gail Gerstner, 79, of Bonne Terre, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at Mercy St. Louis in Missouri. She was born Monday, December 7, 1942, in Wilson, Kansas, to the late Maurice Peirano and Ethel (Eitel) Kaufman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Darryl Keith Gerstner, daughter, Julia Woeltje and stepfather, Jack Kaufman.

     Maureen enjoyed gardening, watching her birds out her window, singing and reading a great book. In her younger years she enjoyed spending time with her girlfriends, they all enjoyed going to the casino in hopes of leaving a big winner. But her biggest excitement was spending time with her grandchildren and her furbaby cats, Nelly and Sammy. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

     Maureen is survived by her son, John Gerstner; grandchildren, Alex Gerstner, Andrew Gerstner and Adam Woeltje; sister, Patty (husband Terry) Henry.

     Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM. Pastor Alan David will be officiating.
